This day commemorates the completion of the Human Genome Project and the
discovery of the DNA double helix, by Watson and Crick. This is a
national celebration that focuses on teaching young people and the
community at large about the science of genetics and genomics,
accomplishments made in these fields and the wonderful careers that are
possible.
This year we will expand our celebration to two days. In addition to our
Ambassador program, we will have a DNA Day Symposium, with student
