National DNA Day

National DNA Day commemorates the completion of the Human Genome Project in April 2003 and the discovery of DNA's double helix structure in April 1953. It is a day that encourages students, teachers and the public to learn more about genetics and genomics.

DNA Day 2010 Ambassador

What is involved?

Ambassadors (faculty/staff/students from The Genome Institute) will visit area schools and conduct scientific experiments with, or give talks to, students about genomics and careers in the field.

What is the cost?

This event is absolutely FREE!

Who can participate?

Everyone.

Interested in ambassadors visiting your school?

Send an email to outreach@genome.wustl.edu. Provide the name and location of your school, number of students you expect to participate and a preferred time.
