Instructions for OGR: Undergraduate Scholars Summer Program

Application Deadlines

  • Early Decision: February 1, 2012
  • Regular Deadline: March 12, 2012

Follow the instructions for completing the application for admission to the 2012 Opportunities in Genomics Research (OGR) Undergraduate Scholars Summer Program:

  1. Carefully complete all parts of the application including the Personal Statements section. If any parts of the application are incomplete, your application will not be reviewed.
  2. After completing this online application, send the following supplementary documents via U.S. Mail to authenticate your application:
    • Official copies of your transcript(s) from the beginning of your undergraduate education through Fall 2011 semester or quarter (include work from all institutions attended e.g. two-year college). If accepted to the program, a transcript reflecting the spring 2012 semester will be required, prior to matriculation in the program.
    • Two faculty recommendation forms should be sent from your referees. Both forms must be from a faculty member who can attest to your academic performance through courses and/or mentoring via research. Only recommendations from faculty at undergraduate institutions or higher will be considered. One letter must be from a faculty in STEM (science, engineering, technology, mathematics). Please download the form and submit to your referees. Upon completion, the form should be sent to us electronically at outreach@genome.wustl.edu. It must originate from the email address of the referee.
