Research Accomplishments & Interests

Tina Graves-Lindsay, M.S., joined The Genome Institute in 1996 and is currently the leader of the Reference Genomes group. This group is responsible for improving the human and mouse reference sequences by correcting any misrepresented regions and closing as many remaining gaps as possible. This effort is also producing alternate assemblies of structurally variant loci for the human genome. Along with her duties in the Reference Genome group, she also oversees the Clone-Based Library Core and Sorting groups.

Other Biographical Information

Tina received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Missouri State University and her Master’s Degree in Microbiology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
