Research Accomplishments & Interests

Pat Minx, M.S., joined The Genome Institute in 1994 as a member of the finishing group. Currently he is a Group Leader and manages the large genome assembly, microbial assembly, submissions and screening groups. He focuses on maximizing accuracy and contiguity of sequence assemblies through program automation.

Other Biographical Information

Mr. Minx received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri in Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife, and a Master's Degree in Biology from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He is also interested in the research fields of phylogenetic reconstruction and herpetology.
